Comment Policy

We encourage comments, including disagreement and criticism.  We also believe that it is still possible to be civil.

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to edit or delete comments that attack other readers, baselessly smear people, are too vulgar to be printed in a family newspaper, are off-topic, or are shamelessly self-promoting; efforts to shut down discussion rather than contribute to it; or anything else we think shouldn’t be there.  We are sorry it has to be this way, but it’s a jungle out there, and we’re going to try to maintain at least a modicum of decorum in the little part of the Internet where we have anything to say about it.

Keep it classy, Cincinnati.

Note that even an unobjectionable comment may not post for some time, until someone is available to approve it.

Due to other obligations on our time, we will generally be unable to respond to comments or other communications.
